Behind the scenes falls secondary to the performance, but rehearsal is an enactment of performance itself. What does moving image look like when all methods are deployed as tiny acts of storytelling? The method is now the spectacle. PRELON MUSK: ACTS OF KLEINESS is a mediascape of methods, enacted into bodies of work and spoken into existence. The making of the script is more interesting than the script itself, it is this which we wish to sit centre stage. In shifting our line of focus from in-front to behind the lens, Method-Agency seeks to reconfigure how moving image, both live and on-screen, is defined.

PRELON MUSK: ACTS OF KLEINNESS is a festival calling to expose the maker's experimental script-making process. ACTS OF KLEINNESS is interested in works of film, performance and sound. Although ACTS OF KLEINNESS will consider works of any kind concerned with experimental notions of rehearsal, methods, process, props, models, works in progress and behind the scenes. Works considered can both be complete or ongoing.
